Site Settings
The Settings section holds your site's identity — name, logo, favicon, contact email — plus SEO defaults, social links and the visual theme. Settings are organized into tabs; each tab has its own Save Settings button.
Prerequisites
Settings are available to site admins. Every site in the panel has its own, independent settings.
General tab
- Site Name (required) — shown in the browser tab after the page title and used in emails.
- Site Description — a short description of the site.
- Site Logo — displayed in the header and footer. Pick an image from the media library or upload one on the spot.
- Favicon — the browser tab icon. Recommended: a 32×32 or 64×64 PNG.
- Locale — the site's default language code (e.g.
en,cs). It affects the language of the public website. Changing it on a running site changes which content is treated as the default language, so consult your developer first. - Contact Email — where contact form submissions are sent. Also used in transactional emails.
SEO tab
Site-wide defaults for search engines — used whenever a page doesn't set its own values:
- Meta Title and Meta Description (up to 160 characters).
- OG Image — the default image shown when pages are shared on social networks.
- Google Site Verification — paste the
contentvalue from the Google Search Console meta tag. - robots.txt — leave empty for the default (allow everything). Whatever you enter, the sitemap address is appended automatically.
Per-page SEO fields are described in SEO and Social Sharing.
Social tab
Links to your profiles: X / Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, GitHub. Themes typically show them in the footer, and they are included in the structured data search engines read.
Appearance tab
Pick the site's Theme — the overall design of the public website — from a list with visual previews. Changing the theme takes effect for visitors immediately. This tab appears on sites rendered by Laravix; headless sites have an API tab instead (that one is covered in the developer docs, Headless Mode and API Tokens).
Frequently asked questions
I changed the logo but the site shows the old one. Make sure you clicked Save Settings on the General tab, then hard-refresh the browser.
The contact form on our site returns an error. The Contact Email field is empty. Fill it in and save.
