Client Media Library

Media Library

The media library holds all images, videos and audio files of your site. Upload a file once and use it anywhere — in the builder, as a logo, as a social sharing image.

Uploading files

  1. In the left menu, click Media.
  2. Click the create button in the top right.
  3. Drag a file into the upload area (or click to browse). Images can be cropped and adjusted right in the upload dialog.
  4. Save.

Accepted files: images, videos and audio, up to 512 MB per file. You can also upload directly from the visual builder or from any image-select field — both add the file to this same library.

Automatic image sizes

For every uploaded image, Laravix automatically prepares resized copies in the background:

Size Dimensions Used for
Thumbnail 300 × 300 (cropped) Small previews
Medium up to 800 × 600 Content images
Large up to 1200 × 800 Large content images
OG up to 1200 × 630 Social sharing previews
Favicon 32 × 32 Browser tab icon

You don't choose the size yourself — the website automatically picks the right one for each place, so pages stay fast.

Tip: Upload images in good quality; Laravix scales them down as needed. Scaling a tiny image up isn't possible.

Managing files

  • Renaming/replacing: open the file from the list to edit it.
  • Deleting: files can be deleted by site admins. Deleted media go to the Bin, where they can be restored.

Warning: Deleting a file that pages still use leaves empty spots where the image was. Check before deleting.

Frequently asked questions

My image sizes aren't appearing. Resizing runs as a background job on the server. If variants never appear, the site's background worker probably isn't running — a topic for your developer.

Each site has its own library. Files uploaded on one site aren't visible on another, even in the same admin panel.
