Getting started

Welcome to Laravix! This article walks you through your first login and the basics of the admin panel, so you can start managing your website.

Logging in

The admin panel lives at yourdomain.com/admin. Your login credentials were created by the site administrator — if you don't have them, ask them.

After logging in you'll land on the dashboard. If you have access to multiple sites, use the switcher in the top left corner — each site has its own content, media and settings.

What's in the menu

  • Contents — the pages and posts of your website. This is where you'll spend most of your time.
  • Media — the library of images and files. Anything you upload can be used anywhere on the site.
  • Navigation — the menu items in your site's header and footer.
  • Taxonomies — categories and tags for organizing content.
  • Settings — site name, logo, SEO and other options organized into tabs.

Your first edit

  1. Open Contents and click any page.
  2. Change the title or any other field.
  3. Save with the button at the bottom.

The change appears on the website immediately — as long as the page is published. Every page has a status:

  • Draft — work in progress, not visible on the website
  • Published — publicly available
  • Scheduled — publishes automatically at a planned time
